Maury wish I can see you in concert, at least virtually. . The other gentleman was great also. Forgot his name. ! Loved the blind faith also. Got to make it to the store eventually. Great concert.
Underrated tonewood. To me walnut sounds deep and rich, the lack of overtones lend a hand to very intricate playing that feels very full without bleeding together.
Maury you should’ve A/B this with a real 1939 000-42. With the authentic long sold out, an A/B with an actual 39’ 000-42 or any prewar 000-42 vs a modern deluxe would be cool.
You sounded great.
I absolutely love this show!!!! My work hours changed to 7am-7pm so I miss the live. I watch all your replays
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks, Mark
Nice
I agree, these are wonderful guitars - truly great, because the tone is softer, more subtle, more complex than just about any competitors apart from Walden guitars, and of course vintage Gibson slpe-shouldered dreadnaughts, which are MASSIVELY moe expensive. My only criticism of the Blueridge BG series is that for myself I prefer a 1.75" (45 mm) nut width - I find the 1 11/16" (42.3 mm) a little hard to play. All the same, these guitars blow most others out the water IMO - becuase almost ALL of them are WAY too bright tonally.
Satin for the win. Sounds like an older guitar. It’s warm and mellow. Definitely not as punchy which is what my ear prefers. It’s really a matter of looks and taste. One thing that the satin version has over the gloss is the player would never have to worry about scratches in the nitrocellulose from clothing and such. With use, there would be portions that would become polished and the look after playing would be very cool. I think Martin hit a home run with this one because of inflation and maybe this would allow a player to enter the Martin arena who otherwise wouldn’t because of that cost. I bought a 000-15M in 2019 for $999.00 at AMS Today’s price $1447.00 Martin was smart in making a price point for yester-year prices since the price increase is just about %50 up Nice response to this issue because, in the case of the D18 $400 bucks is $400 bucks man.
Sounding good!
Is he playing Jackson Browne's 'Everyman'?
Yep!
Dirty hippies !!!!!!
Sounds great! Where are you playing?
Thank you! PJ Whelihans in Lehighton, PA. 30 min north of Martinfest 🎶
Sounds awesome! One of the best jams ever! You guys ever head to Ca., I'm buying dinner!!🥩🥩
I returned 000CJR-10E and purchased this street master last week and I love this guitar so much!
Personally love the tone coming from this one
The old "shrimp tacos on top of a Mesa Boogie Dual Rec" trick.
Sounds good, nice big venue 🎉
My favorite 👏👏👏👏👏
Nice rock song!
Hello
I don't know I am supposed to be here or not
Really like All Mahogany Guitars. I currently have a Martin 000-10E (all Sapele). Been looking at 000-15m but really like this model. For some reason these guitars do not seem to be available new? I only see a Red model (it’s hideous).
😂😂❤
I hope he runs the company someday.
such a great booming bass, but not overdone. must say his righthand technique suits this guitar well. perfect combination. greetings from holland.
gorgeous
D28 is more deeper and D41 has slightly better clarity. If I had a D-28, I wouldn’t wanna buy a more expensive D-41. I think having one martin D28 would be enough and no need to buy another Martin. More Martin guitars would be good for the eyes. I’m glad I have a Martin HD-28V and nope I won’t need another Martin. This video has changed my mind. I’ll spend money on a different guitar or an amp.
Les coups donnés sur les cordes donnent un mauvais aspect pour la démo à l’intro… dommage
Sorry if the percussive part bothered you.
Lovely stuff Marshall!
100%
Thanks, Colin
Just bought a BR 163 after playing a Martin!
Congrats!
Mine arrives tomorrow! 😃
Congratulations! These are amazing Guitars, we have one and I’m surprised it hasn’t sold yet.
I just bought one and it was delivered this morning... absolutely amazing sound & feel!❤
Great to hear!
Just have both...and german....and some torrefied.
:) … and …
That was great ! Blind faith, & Neil. Great job!j
Thank you
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Beautiful guitar. I’m considering buying one of these as my first Martin. I’m a beginner, and these seem like they might be good to learn on. I will of course try one out before I buy.
Price?
Sold out
Very interesting and funny from you two amigos!
Haha thx
I love this guy!
...and I love you too, Maury
Lol
😻
What a long, strange trip it has been! I kinda grew up similarly, but I also listened to James Taylor and he was playing a J-45 at the time...ignorance truly is bliss!
👍👍
wonderful. thanks.
Thank you too!
Great stories by Spoon. It'll definitely be worth a re-listen.
very kind of you to say!
nice guitar
Thank you!
Hi Maury, Leigh. How is everything?
Doing well thanks! How are you guys?
@@MaurysMusic We are fine. Enjoyed the podcast.
*sorry for my English. Thank you very much indeed, Sir. (One of) My fave strings are the humble Martin Originals traditional (non-coated) 80/20 bronze/brass. This Martin Titanium strings : brilliant & elegant, with "hi-fi vibe" & superb clarity too maybe kinda same like AlNiCo III magnet pickup from the electric guitar. For me, the Ernie Ball Aluminium Bronze have the same quality too
You are welcome!
The litmus test for me, in your reviews , is when you hit that E,A D- (R O C K in the USA) sequence. That really drives the top and shows if there are weird overtones ( plus anybody can sound good playing it ) because otherwise you make any guitar sound good
Outstanding & especially using the bass to embellish what would usually be the guitar part. Thank You!!
Glad you like it!
Maury’s Music is just the best
Too kind!
Looked it up, they're humpback whales on the Martin❤
Awesome thank you !
Saw this guitar at Martin, Robert Goetzel did an amazing job🎉
Right?!
Great harmonies!
Thank you!
Josh White recorded this song, I think. Good song ❤
Oh wow
